Guild Wars World
One other thing I forgot to mention about Guildwars, is that they have built the world just like There; you are able to get to all places and every player is reachable. They do not divide the world by servers and you can also transport to places on the map. I think this will be a big hit since so few games have this. Games are always more fun when you can find your friends. The alpha client is also cool since it's tiny, and then you download parts of the world as you enter them. This is a great approach to getting around the massive 1gig downloads that we are getting used to.

The Future of ThereFrisky
I'm agonizing over the future of ThereFrisky. I enjoy writing about the hobbies I'm involved in, but when the hobby nears the end, I have less to blab about. Right now I play There approximately one hour a week, down from 25+ hours a week. I still enjoy the beta, but you can't write about the content as that is against the TOS. This leaves me with a couple of choices

1) post tiny posts about There since I have little to say
2) stop or slow down posts
3) post about all games or hobbies

These are all tough choices and I have thought about them every which way. I could just write about my other interests, but this is a "There" fansite, and so things start to get way off topic as they have been the last week or two. I could post about the stock market and engine building, but many of you would be 'zzzz very quickly. LOL I could post about City Of Heros, but this is a There fansite and not a CoH fansite and I also don't really want to dilute the existing body of post with off content. I could make it a gamer portal, but I also would not mind a break from posting since its been 365 posts, very few days off.

My current plan is this...at the end of May, I plan to post less often, maybe once a week or once a month, depending on new content and gmax submissions. I am not going anywhere, I am always here and am always andy@lips.com. If I do start a new blog, just like I moved from Sims Online Secrets over to here, I certainly will blast the pages with ads and links and notices. :) There has been awesome fun. I have never written so much about a single topic. My first blog was foosball, and it was maybe 20 articles posted to newsgroups. I then wrote Sexswap News for adult webmasters for six years, once a week (about 300 posts). Cobra Lads was about the cobra kitcar and had about 70 posts. Sims Online Secrets was around 200 posts. ThereFrisky is the king with 355 posts and will cross 365 by end of the month. Whew...that is lots of bla bla. :) I think I showed some of these links before...here are my banterings from the past.

I should put up links to all of those on here. :) ThereFrisky is the biggest and gets the most traffic of any of them. SexSwap Trix was also a newsletter and read by 3000-5000 a week, but the website got about the same traffic as frisky. I'm not sure what I'll write about next, it will most likely be one of these three topics: stocks, engines, or a game. I have my stock trading book coming out and so I might blab about it a little, but I think that would get boring fast. There is an engine building championship in September and I find out this week if I am one of the contestants. If I make it in, I am going to write a second book on horsepower, and so I have blogs possibly ready called Pirates Of Horsepower. And I am enjoying CoH, so I might write about it...but Doom3 is due out in a month and Half-life is due in september and half-life always holds a place in my heart. LOL

Again, I will probably slow down my daily posts at the end of the month. I'll most likely continue to blab about the new content like Tyr Houses and Deeds and card games etc. I'll probably take some time off from writing in general and then if I do fire up a new blog, I most certainly will be posting here about it and placing links everywhere. I have been agonizing about this for a couple months now and I think this approach works best.

City Of Heros Is On Fire!
This game is just plain fun and the public has choosen. The proof is in the sales and it continues to hold the number one spot at amazon, where UT2004 and Lineage have fallen to the 15th and 22nd spot repectively. Notice Doom3 is number2! I preordered it months ago. Half-life is number 15. If you have not tried CoH, you might consider giving it a whirl...it's a fresh approach to MMORPG and the servers are packed with players as sales climb. Lag levels are minimal. I met ArianeB on the Freedom server a coupe nights ago! Starley is a complete addict as she plays like 7 characters. :D

Survivor Second Million Tonight
